  13. upon exiting the game.

  17. User may encounter the above-mentioned error message when running Rebel 
  18. Assault or upon exiting the game.  The reason is Rebel Assault requires at least 
  19. 4 Mb of free XMS to run correctly.  An indication of whether you have enough 
  20. free memory to run the game is by checking the calibration screen of Rebel 
  21. Assault, which appears after clicking "Play Rebel Assault" from the setup/launch 
  22. menu.  The sound buffer size should be 700000 bytes or more.

  26. This error message can be eliminated by increasing XMS size by disabling any 
  27. memory manager in the CONFIG.SYS file.

  29. It is also recommended in the Rebel Assault manual that memory mangers 
  30. should not be used to run with this game as it will slow down the game and 
  31. cause sound/animation synchronisation problem.
